The 6-month commitment is no longer!

UNC commit Keenan Jackson just dominated in the 4A state championship. His performance helped lift Weddington over Hoggard, 56-21.

State Championship Stats

On the night, Jackson had 10 catches for 136 yards and three touchdowns. Two of his scores were catches, while the other was a scooped-up fumble he ran into the end zone. Jackson was awarded the Most Valuable Player Award for his performance. Weddington finished the year 14-2 and had not lost a game since late October.

Recruiting Profile

Jackson stands at 6’3, 185-pounds. 247Sports lists Jackson as a 3-star and the 857th-ranked player in the 2024 class. After the season he has had, Jackson may get a boost soon. MaxPreps lists his stats but has not recorded the numbers he put up in the state championship. Adding what he did in the title game to what MaxPreps has, Jackson finished the year with 102 catches for 1,704 yards and 20 touchdowns.

He also had offers from West Virginia, Maryland, Duke, NC State, Virginia Tech, and others.

UNC is bringing in an elite group of receivers in this class. Jackson is joined by fellow wideouts Javarius Green, Alex Taylor, and Jordan Shipp. That haul continues years of North Carolina getting talented wideouts.

UPDATE: Jackson just broke his 6-month long commitment. He will no longer attend UNC.
