A top dual sport player in the class of 2026 will be North Carolina’s guest for their opener.

The number five sophomore has scheduled three upcoming visits. Luckily, one of those will be for North Carolina’s season opener in Charlotte against South Carolina.

Recruiting Profile

Kendre Harrison is not only a top five football prospect, but ESPN has him ranked as the 18th best basketball player in his class. An unreal dual sport athlete, he has offers from power five schools in both sports. From Reidsville, North Carolina, Harrison is 6’7, 235 pounds. In football, he is listed as an “athlete”, meaning he could play multiple positions. At the moment, he is a tight end who also plays defensive end. Harrison already holds offers from schools like Alabama, Michigan, and Ohio State.

When it comes to basketball, Harrison is a small forward that has already played in a state championship game. According to 247Sports, he claims to already hold offers in basketball from Florida State, Texas A&M, and Wake Forest.

Other Visits

Harrison has also scheduled visits to Penn State on September 23rd and Tennessee on November 12th. This is the kind of player who will have no shortage of suitors. He will likely take trips across the country. Gladly, being from Reidsville means he will be able to take trips to North Carolina often!

This will be a massive recruitment for the program. Getting the jump on a nationally sought after recruit is going to be very important!
