Some big names were in attendance for UNC’s win!

When North Carolina completed its season sweep over NC State on Saturday, there were some elite prospects in attendance. Two of them will be on UNC’s squad next year, while one recruit returned for yet another visit to Chapel Hill. All three have now been to multiple games.

Big Names

Commits

Two of the Tar Heels three class of 2024 commitments were at the win. Both Ian Jackson and Drake Powell watched the game from the baseline. Jackson, from New York, has caught a couple of games, while Powell, from Pittsboro, is a frequent visitor. The 5-star duo looks to be major contributors next season. The third member of that class, James Brown, was not in attendance.

Recruit

5-star sophomore Kendre Harrison was also in attendance. A true dual-sport star, Harrison has made it to multiple games this season, even taking a few unofficial trips.

Recruiting Profiles

Ian Jackson- Ranked as the #8 player in the 2024 class and the #4 shooting guard.

Drake Powell- Ranked #9 in the 2024 class and the #2 small forward.

Kendre Harrison- Class of 2026. In football, Harrison plays on both sides of the ball. He is the #4 player in the country. In basketball, Harrison is a 4-star, ranked #27 nationally, and the #4 power forward.

It was a good game for all three to attend.
