Armando Bacot has been working out with a well-known trainer in New York.

The North Carolina center has been working on his game this offseason. Sharing posts on his Instagram, Bacot has been working out with Chris Brickley. This is no doubt a positive for the development of his game.

Who is Chris Brickely?

Every single year, you will see numerous players, both professional and NBA, working out with Chris Brickley. He is an NBA Skills coach who helps players further develop their game. Brickley played college ball at Louisville. He also used to work in the college ranks, where he was an assistant coach at Fairleigh Dickinson and Ole Miss. After that, he was a player development coordinator for the New York Knicks. Since starting his current position, hundreds of NBA players have trained with him. The likes of Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, and D’Angelo Russell. Someone who often visits Brickely is former Tar Heel and good friend of Armando Bacot, Cole Anthony!

Bacots Clips

In the clips posted, Bacot was working with his back to the basket and turning into a face-up jumper. He looked quick and made moves confidently. Will Bacot look to shoot the mid-range shot more this coming season? It would certainly make him even more dangerous. As we have seen, Bacot is dominant down low and has always been a good rebounder. Adding a better jumper to his game will not only help the Tar Heels but also boost his draft stock.
