The three Tar Heels were part of a March Madness promotion!

As the college sports world continues to evolve, athletes are connected with some of the biggest brands and names in the world. It is great for the athlete as they are promoted and are able to profit from their name, image, and likeness (NIL). Today, North Carolina’s RJ Davis, Armando Bacot, and Paxson Wojcik were part of a promotion with one of the biggest names in the world.

March All-Stars

Today, that trio, along with five other college basketball players: Hunter Dickinson of Kansas, Rob Dillingham of Kentucky, Donovan Clingan of UConn, Caleb Love of Arizona, and Jared McCain of Duke, were put in a promotion for Skims, a clothing line made by Kim Kardashian.

In the posts, the players above are wearing a new line of loungewear that will be released this Thursday, March 21st, at 9 a.m.

Win-Win Branding

March Madness is one of the biggest sporting events in the world. Both the brand and the players who participated will have eyes on them due to the partnership.

Kardashian reposted the video and pictures to both her and the brand’s accounts which, between X (Twitter) and Instagram, combine for over 445 million followers. In a time where college players are able to profit, this is a great opportunity.

NIL has been a massive benefit to student-athletes.
