Another week of UNC pros getting it done!

UNC players around the league continue to impress. The younger guys like Josh Downs and Sam Howell look like they may have long careers in the NFL. There is plenty of talent that has come out of Chapel Hill over the last decade!

Pro Heels

Sam Howell: 37 of 51 passing for 388 yards and two touchdowns. Four rushes for 19 yards. Commanders lost to the Bears.

Dyami Brown: One catch for 11 yards. Commanders lost to the Bears.

Josh Downs: Six catches for 97 yards. Colts beat the Titans.

Mack Hollins: Two catches for 29 yards. Falcons beat the Texans.

Cole Holcomb: Nine tackles, eight solo tackles and one tackle for a loss. Steelers beat the Ravens.

Michael Carter: One rush for eight yards. Three catches for 14 yards. Jets beat the Broncos.

Ty Chandler: One rush for 15 yards.

Best Performances

Sam Howell: The quarterback had a great game despite the loss. His ability to hit targets all over the field has given Commanders fans hope for the future.

Josh Downs: The best game of his young career, Downs is looking like a future number one receiver for his team. His route running and quickness was praised in the preseason and is being shown off now.

Cole Holcomb: A former Commander, Holcomb has been impressive thus far in his time with the Steelers.

These Tar Heels will continue to prove themselves as the season goes on.
