Big news for the 2025 UNC recruiting class!

According to 247Sports recruiting director Steve Wiltfong, one of the best players in the class of 2025 will be visiting UNC this weekend. He is listed as one of the best prospects in the country!

Big Visit

David Sanders Jr., the number one offensive tackle in 2025, will be at the North Carolina-Miami game on Saturday night. From Charlotte, he is an in-state prospect, which could help UNC in the long run. Standing at 6’6, 270 pounds, Sanders is considered to be the number one recruit in the country. He plays his high school ball for Providence Day School, where North Carolina commit Jordan Shipp also competes. The school is a place that UNC recruits out of quite frequently.

Offer List

Being the number one player has its perks. Sanders is being recruited by all of the blue bloods. He has offers from Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, and so many others. Luckily for UNC, being an in-state recruit could be a big help. Is playing close to home important for Sanders? If the Tar Heels could pull this off, it would send shockwaves through the college football world. If UNC can continue on the track that their current season is going, maybe it could draw the top recruit in!

This is a big visit for the Tar Heels!
