Another week is in the books!

With week four complete, we take a look at how some Tar Heels played around the league. There were good and bad performances, however, there is a lot to look forward to for these players. This weekly series will continue all season long!

Pro Heels

Sam Howell- 29/41 passing for 290 yards and a touchdown. Six rushes for 40 yards. Threw a touchdown as time expired to send the game to overtime. Commanders lost to the Eagles.

Mitch Trubisky- Came in for an injured Kenny Pickett. Completed 3/5 passes for 18 yards. Steelers lost to the Texans.

Javonte Williams- Two rushes for no yards. Three catches for nine yards. Was injured. Broncos beat the Bears.

Michael Carter- One rush for nine yards. Two catches for 12 yards. Jets lost to the Chiefs.

Josh Downs- Two catches for 34 yards. Colts lost to the Rams.

Dyami Brown- Two catches for 51 yards. Commanders lost to the Eagles.

Cole Holcomb- Seven tackles, four solo tackles. Steelers lost to the Texans.

Top Performance

Sam Howell played the best of any Tar Heel this week. Rebounding from a bad game against the Bills, Howell had the Commanders in position to take down one of the best teams in the league. He zipped a ball in for a touchdown when the clock hit zero. In overtime, Howell threw a pass that, on replay, looked complete but was ruled the opposite. If called correctly, the Commanders may have driven down the field and won. Howell also connected with former UNC teammate Dyami Brown for two catches!

A lot of promise has been shown by these pro Tar Heels.
