UNC is six games away from a National Championship.

North Carolina finished the season with a 27-7 record, and won the ACC regular season title. In turn, they were rewarded with a one-seed. Now, UNC is six games away from its seventh national title. March Madness is full of surprises, and it is never easy. Can the Tar Heels get it done?

One-Seed Tar Heels

UNC will head out west. This is North Carolina’s first one-seed since 2019. They are joined by UConn, Purdue, and Houston as top-seeds. The Tar Heels did enough in the regular season and conference tournament to pull away from Arizona, Tennessee, and Iowa State.

North Carolina has been put in the same region as Arizona and Caleb Love. You had to know this one was coming, as it produces so many storylines. The teams will have to win multiple games to get to one another, but it could happen. This region is very solid, and UNC will have to be at its best throughout.

UNC will play on Thursday in Charlotte, North Carolina.
