UNC Commit Ian Jackson Continues to Shine Against Top Talent

North Carolina 5-star commit Ian Jackson has been dominant on the high school scene this season. After a strong summer, he picked up where he left off and is solidifying himself as a top-10 player in the 2024 class.

 

Another Big Game

Playing for Our Savior Lutheran on the Overtime Elite circuit, Jackson has had the opportunity to match up with other top talent in the country. Today, he faced off against Bo Aldridge, an Arizona State commit. Jackson would finish the game with 33 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists.

A few days ago, Jackson faced off with the Cold Hearts, a team loaded with college talent. They have guys committed to Ole Miss, NC State, Purdue, and more. He put 28 points on them.

A month ago, Jackson played against Prolific Prep, one of the best prep schools in the country. They are filled with the top talent in high school ball. In that game, Jackson scored 32 points and had 8 rebounds. He is undoubtedly one of the best scorers in the country, and continues to impress.

 

Current Ranking

247Sports ranks Jackson as a 5-star recruit and the 10th-best player in the 2024 class. He is a 6’5 shooting guard out of the Bronx, New York. Jackson picked North Carolina over Kentucky and Arkansas.

 

Next year, he will be in Carolina blue!
