The schedule is tough for UNC.

North Carolina basketball is almost through with non-conference play. Still left are undefeated Oklahoma and Charleston Southern. After that, the Tar Heels hit the road again for three straight away ACC games. There is no doubt UNC is battle-tested, but staying composed will be huge during the next stretch.

Next Five Games

Non-Conference

Dec 20th: The Tar Heels take on undefeated Oklahoma. UNC will look to stop the bleeding and avoid three losses in a row. With Baylor, Creighton, and now UNC losing, the Sooners will likely jump into the top 10.

Dec 29th: Charleston Southern makes the trip to Chapel Hill for North Carolina’s final non-conference game. The Bucaneers sit at 3-7 with losses to South Carolina, Wake Forest, and NC State.

ACC Play

Jan 2nd: UNC heads to Pittsburgh. The last few years, the Panthers have bullied the Tar Heels. Hopefully, this one will be different. They are 8-3 with no big wins but have lost to Florida, Missouri, and Clemson.

Jan 6th: The Heels go to Clemson. They finally lost their first game to Memphis and look better than in years past. Will they fade in ACC play?

Jan 10th: UNC lost in Raleigh last season. Will this team stay composed? The Wolfpack are 7-3 with losses to BYU, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.

Is this North Carolina team really different? We will find out soon.
