UNC has recruited these positions well since Mack Brown returned.

North Carolina has had good wide receivers, tight ends, and running backs for years. Add a Heisman candidate at quarterback, and you get one of the most dynamic offenses in the country. The group as a whole has been tough to stop, with UNC scoring over 30 points in every game this season. The Tar Heels flexed their weapons on Saturday against Syracuse, spreading the ball out and burning the Orange in a multitude of ways.

Running Backs

Four running backs got carries.

Omarion Hampton: 15 rushes for 78 yards. 3 catches for 25 yards.

British Brooks: 6 rushes for 25 yards. Two catches for nine yards.

Caleb Hood: 7 rushes for 23 yards. One catch for nine yards.

Elijah Green: 3 rushes for 8 yards.

Wide Receivers

Five receivers caught passes.

J.J. Jones: Two catches for 22 yards.

Nate McCollum: Seven catches for 135 yards.

Kobe Paysour: Three catches for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Devontez Walker: Six catches for 43 yards.

Tychaun Chapman: One catch for three yards.

Tight Ends

All three tight ends had a catch.

John Copenhaver: One catch for one yard and one touchdown.

Bryson Nesbit: Five catches for 79 yards and a touchdown.

Kamari Morales: Two catches for 16 yards.

With 11 players catching a pass, UNC has the weapons to move the ball around. Defenses have to cover every possible option, or they could get burned. This Tar Heel team is one of the most talented offensively that they have ever had.
