High praise for the UNC point guard.

Those who have watched him play say Elliot Cadeau has some of the best passing ability you will see from a lead guard. He was thought to be the best assist man in high school, regardless of class. Cadeau reclassified to North Carolina so that he could join the team in what should be his senior year of high school. It appears the noise of his playmaking is getting louder.

Insider Says

One of the best follows on Twitter for college basketball, Jon Rothstein, says he heard that Cadeau will be the best passing point guard the Tar Heels have had since Kendall Marshall. His tweet reads, “Well embedded moles in Chapel Hill firmly believe that Elliot Cadeau will be the best passing point guard that North Carolina has had since Kendall Marshall.”

Although it was widely known how great of a passer he was, it is good to hear that people within Chapel Hill believe the same. Rothstein has credible sources, so could this have been a coach saying these things? Either way, the buzz around Cadeau has been positive for some time. His ability to find the open man is always highlighted, but he is a good scorer as well. Cadeau is a very good all-around player and is going to help this UNC team a lot.

Comparing anyones passing ability to Kendall Marshall is a big compliment.
