The ACC unveiled their All-ACC teams today. Among that list, four Tar Heels were awarded.

With the regular season now complete, the ACC unveiled their all conference teams.

Standout Freshman

Casey Cook was placed on the All-ACC Freshman Team. The standout left fielder had a .320 batting average and a .413 slugging percentage. Cook ranked fourth among all freshmen in batting this season. He was also a nice presence on defense accounting for only one error and having a .991 fielding percentage.

Second-Team All-ACC

The duo of Jackson Van De Brake and Mac Horvath were dominant this season.

Van De Brake, a transfer from Tacoma Community College, was a great pickup for coach Scott Forbes this offseason. The transfer accounted for 45 RBIs while batting .323 and 8 home runs. He has been a steady presence all year.

Horvath was an absolute star this season. Hitting .312 with a .711 slugging percentage, Horvath had one of the best seasons in North Carolina history. He is the first 20-20-20 ACC player this century. That is 20 doubles, 22 stolen bases and 21 home runs. To go along with that, Horvath drove in 61 runs. After this historic season, it is shocking he was not on the First-Team.

Both Horvath and Van De Brake also played multiple positions on the defensive side of the ball. Their ability to play in different spots will only boost their draft stock when the time comes.

ACC Defensive Player of the Year

Vance Honeycutt. What else can you say? The highlight reel Center Fielder was spectacular on defense the whole year. He had an unreal .986 fielding percentage and multiple SportsCenter Top 10 catches. Even with his batting average dropping from his freshman year, Honeycutt had 43 RBIs and 12 home runs. Always a threat on the base path, he stole a bag 19 times. He was also named Third-Team All-ACC. Luckily for North Carolina, they will have him for another year.
