Harrell will get his shot!

With no Drake Maye for the bowl game, North Carolina will use backup Conner Harrell. We have only truly seen him play against Campbell, where he impressed. He has gotten snaps in other games, but not enough to show what he could do. Now, he gets a chance to start.

Rallying Around Harrell

He may just be the quarterback of the future. North Carolina recently added former LSU and Texas A&M Max Johnson. However, Harrell has been in the system and knows what to do. His teammates seem to love him. When asked about a change in quarterback, wide receiver J.J. Jones told Michael Koh, “It’s not a step down, just a change of scenery.” Harrell has an impressive background, and now he gets to show his talent to the country!

Don’t Sleep on Harrell

Harrell is from Alabaster, Alabama. In high school, he led his team to back-to-back 7A state championships. That’s not easy to do, especially at a 7A classification. Against Campbell, not only did he show off his speed, but also hit receiver Chris Culliver in stride on a beautiful deep ball. In limited time that game, he completed all four pass attempts for 71 yards but also rushed twice for 61. Harrell brings a different dynamic to this offense, and we may get a look at different sets.

Harrell is going to shine on the 27th!
