Bacot loves the school.

North Carolina center Armando Bacot played his last game in the Smith Center on Tuesday night. He has been a fantastic player for UNC throughout his time with the program. It was a bittersweet moment, and after the game, he showed his love for the school with an all-time quote.

Love For UNC

In what many have called an emotional post-game presser, Bacot said something that fans should love. The North Carolina basketball stats and information page posted a graphic with his quote that said, “I may not have been the best player to ever play here, I may not have scored the most points, I did grab the most rebounds, I may not have blocked the most shots. But I think in terms of players, no one has loved this school as much as I have.”

Just two years ago, after a win over Ohio State, Bacot said, “My love for North Carolina, I mean, I love this school, I love these fans, and I love everything about it. I would die for this school, I really would.”

As a player, he has been fantastic, breaking multiple records. Off the court, he has shown his love for the university on multiple occasions.

Not seeing him start in the Smith Center will be very strange next season.
