The Early Signing Period is almost here!

North Carolina’s 2024 recruiting class is made up of three players: Drake Powell, Ian Jackson, and James Brown. That group will have the opportunity to sign their National Letters of Intent starting tomorrow. So, will they sign?

Early Signing Period

Drake Powell

UNC’s highest-ranked recruit plans to sign. Powell flew up the rankings over the past year to become a 5-star and is 4th in the 2024 class. He has been on multiple visits to Chapel Hill.

James Brown

A 4-star center, Brown is expected to sign tomorrow. Ranked 91st in the country, Brown is the also the 14th-ranked center in the class. He has played on a loaded Link Academy team.

Ian Jackson

Jackson will sign at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, per Adam Zagoria . This is a welcome sight for UNC fans. Rumors have swirled for so long over this recruitment, so Jackson finally signing is good to see. He is a 5-star, ranked 10th in his class.

These are three very talented recruits who want to win at North Carolina. Two 5-stars and a 4-star is a good class for any school.  Although they are signing, it does not always mean they are 100% coming to UNC (see Simeon Wilcher last year). Hopefully, we will see all of them in Chapel Hill next season!
