We may see the UNC trio there!

North Carolina is set to host its preseason late night event on Friday. Now called “Late Night With Carolina Basketball”, it is a play on what was formerly “Late Night with Roy.” Schools across the country do this yearly, and it is a treat for the fans. You get to meet the new faces of the team, see how the squad looks, and have a good time at a basketball event with no stress.

Will the 2024 Commits Come?

On Monday, an Instagram story circulated where the three Tar Heel commits insinuated that they would be in Chapel Hill for the game. James Brown, Drake Powell, and Ian Jackson make up the class.

Ian Jackson: 5-star, ranked number 10 in the 2024 class.

Drake Powell: 5-star, ranked number 4 in the 2024 class.

James Brown: 4-star, ranked number 91 in the 2024 class.

These three players currently give UNC the second-best class for next year. Each is dynamic in their own way and bring a lot to the table. This is one of the better groups of recruits North Carolina has had over the last decade, and fans should be excited.

Oftentimes, recruits will visit for these events, and it would be a good look to have those currently committed there to show their support.

Live Action will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday night in the Dean E. Smith Center.
