UNC has continues to show a lot of interest in the Durham native.
Class of 2025 small forward Jackson Keith has been watched by North Carolina for some time. He is one of the top in-state prospects in his class and has offers from all over the country. Recently, it seems that Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels are putting the full court press on him. All that he lacks from UNC? An offer.
What’s New?
Keith has already been to Chapel Hill. However, he returned to campus for the Tar Heels football game against Minnesota this past Saturday. It was an unofficial visit, meaning UNC did not pay for Keith to come, he came on his own. Through pictures on social media, it seems that Keith spent quite a bit of time with head coach Hubert Davis. Then, on Tuesday, UNC assistant coach Jeff Lebo took a trip to Keith’s high school to go see him. Although he does not yet hold an offer, it looks as if it is only a matter of time.
Recruiting Profile
Keith is a 6’6, 190-pound small forward from Durham, North Carolina. He plays his high school ball for Southern Durham. Last season, Keith averaged 20.7 points, 1.8 assists, and 8.2 rebounds. 247Sports ranks him as the 66th best prospect in 2025 and the third-best player in North Carolina. Keith has offers from Villanova, Virginia, NC State, Tennessee, and many others.
It sure does seem that there is a strong feeling both ways between coaching staff and recruit…
