The non-conference schedule has been announced!

North Carolina has released its non-conference schedule. It is an interesting one with the potential for multiple high-profile games. Although they do travel for tournaments, the Tar Heels will not play a true road game. This is much different from past teams and something that will be strange for UNC not to do.

The Games

October 27th: Exhibition vs St. Augustine’s- Chapel Hill

November 6th: Radford- Chapel Hill

November 12th: Lehigh- Chapel Hill

November 17th: UC Riverside- Chapel Hill

November 22nd-24th: Battle 4 Atlantis- Bahamas

November 29th: Tennessee- Chapel Hill

December 5th: UCONN- New York, NY (MSG)

December 16th: Kentucky- Atlanta, Georgia (CBS Sports Classic)

December 20th: Oklahoma- Charlotte, NC (Jumpman Classic)

December 29th: Charleston Southern- Chapel Hill

Although there are no true road games, there is an opportunity to play multiple teams that will be ranked in the Top 25. North Carolina will be battle tested headed into ACC play. The early season tournaments they are in include good teams from multiple conferences. It is strange that they will not go to another school and play on the road. That is something most UNC teams have done to prepare for conference play. With this, the Tar Heels will be forced to adjust to opposing crowds quickly in the ACC. Will this present a challenge for all of the transfers on the roster?
