With another 2025 commit, UNC keeps the recruiting train rolling.

North Carolina landed a 3-star defensive end yesterday. Kamden Laudenslager, from Owings Mills, Maryland, picked the Tar Heels after attending their game against App State.

Profile

Laudenslager is a 6’3, 215-pound defensive end. He has good size for the position and has time to add weight. Right now, Laudenslager is ranked as a 3-star, and the 497th player in the country. He is ranked as the 39th best defensive end and the 19th best player in Maryland. Laudenslager held offers from Duke, Maryland, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and many others. He already has 17 tackles through two games this season, including six sacks. Laudenslager and his school play against other prep schools, so he is facing solid competition week in and week out.

UNC 2025 Class

The Tar Heels are off to a solid start for the 2025 class. They already have a quarterback in Bryce Baker, and now they add a good defensive piece as well. Throughout the year, they will have multiple visitors, most of whom will have a chance to pick UNC. It is very early in the cycle, so 2025 is just getting started. Right now, the 2025 class is ranked 18th in the nation.

Congrats to Kamden for picking the Tar Heels. Here’s to hoping for a bright and successful future!
