UNC will look to extend its winning streak to five games.

North Carolina has a big matchup with the Syracuse Orange on Saturday. The Tar Heels sit at 4-0 while the Orange are 4-1, with the lone loss coming last week to Clemson. UNC will surely be hyped for the debut of standout transfer wide receiver Tez Walker. He was finally ruled eligible after a months-long battle with the NCAA.

Current Line

As it stands, UNC is a 9.5-point favorite this weekend. ESPN also gives North Carolina a 61 percent chance to win. The Tar Heels are off to their best start since 1997 and look to continue the winning streak that they are on. This is a perfect year to change the national perspective and not have any letdown games.

Syracuse is no slouch. Their quarterback, Garrett Shrader, is both a good passer and runner. On top of that, they have three receivers who are over 200 yards on the season. The Orange have a solid defense as well. Against Clemson, they were a bit undisciplined, leading to extended possessions for the Tigers.

This is not likely to be an easy game. UNC will have emotions flowing for Tez Walker’s return and must stay focused. This good start can’t end here.

Kenan Stadium should be rocking for this game!
