UNC is the heavy favorite.

The South’s Oldest Rivalry is set to take place again on Saturday. It was on October 22nd, 1892, that the schools met for the first time. The undefeated Tar Heels will face a struggling Virginia team. However, UNC must stay focused on the task at hand. Anyone can be beaten in college football. Just last week, a dreadful Pittsburgh squad stomped undefeated Louisville. North Carolina has had its fair share of being upset by teams they shouldn’t lose to in the past. After all, this is a rivalry game.

Betting Line

As it stands now, UNC is favored by 23.5 points on Saturday. ESPN gives the Tar Heels a 94.2% chance to win the game. Virginia is coming off a bye week and will be prepared. So far, the Cavaliers only win is over William & Mary. UVA has had problems on both the offensive and defensive lines. They are struggling to protect their quarterback and get to the opposing teams. If that is the case on Saturday, Drake Maye could have his best game yet. Hopefully, North Carolina will get ahead early so that the backups can show what they’ve got.
