A number of recruits received an offer from UNC over the weekend.

AAU basketball is underway, and with that, North Carolina’s coaches were on the recruiting trail. The staff was seen at multiple games, evaluating a number of prospects. According to their X accounts, a few players were offered a scholarship. A 2026 recruit was also given an offer.

New Offers

  • Derek Dixon– A 4-Star combo-guard, Dixon had a big weekend. He attends Gonzaga College High School, where former Tar Heel Nate Britt played.
  • Nikolas Khamenia– Listed as a 4-Star power forward, Khamenia is a good shooter. He holds offers from schools across the country.
  • Malachi Moreno– Standing at 6’11, Moreno is a center who is listed as a 4-Star. On Saturday, he posted 16 points and 11 rebounds in a win.
  • Braylon Mullins– A 4-Star shooting guard, Mullins picked up a number of offers over the weekend. Through 13 AAU games, he is averaging 19.4 points per game while shooting 48.4% from behind the three-point line.
  • Coleman Cloer– The lone North Carolina native on this list, Cloer, is a class of 2026 recruit. He has done big things in-state, and continues to impress on the AAU circuit.

Casting a Wider Net

North Carolina has now offered at least 13 recruits in the 2025 class. These five new names join Koa Peat, Bryson Tiller, Caleb Wilson, Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer, Darryn Peterson, Jasper Johnson, AJ Dybantsa, and Isiah Harwell. In 2026, Cloer is the only player to be offered.

Will the Tar Heels gain a commitment from anyone in the bunch?
