Transfers

Cormac Ryan took over the number 3, different from the 5 he has worn in past years. Paxson Wojcik took the 8, a number not commonly worn by UNC players. Jae’Lyn Withers chose 24, another number not worn often by Tar Heels. Okonkwo is in the 32 jersey, the same number he wore at West Virginia, as is Harrison Ingram, who continues to wear number 55 like he did at Stanford.

Freshmen

Zayden High is here and wearing number 1, last worn by Leaky Black. Elliot Cadeau takes over the 2 jersey, a legendary number worn by many of North Carolina’s best point guards.

Notable Omission

In the video, Beau Maye was not shown. Has he moved on from basketball? We will have to wait and see.

Seeing the jersey numbers that will be worn is always a fun surprise. The season is almost here, and the hype is building!
