Tez Walker Eligibility Denied Again, Mack Brown Goes Off

The NCAA denied Tez Walker’s eligibility again…

After yet another hearing over Tez Walker’s eligibility, the NCAA has stuck to their ruling and deemed him ineligible. A ridiculous process that has been shamed by many, the NCAA will now bring even more heat to themselves.

Mack Brown Goes Off

In a statement put out by the UNC Football account on Twitter, Mack Brown had this to say,

“I don’t know if I’ve ever been more disappointed in a person, a group of people or an institution than I am with the NCAA right now. It’s clear the NCAA is about process and couldn’t care less about the young people it’s supposed to be supporting.”

Clearly Brown and others are very upset with the NCAA.

Impact

Not only does UNC lose it’s top wide receiver, but now Walker has to sit through a year of no play. He transferred within the rules and was let down by the adults who are supposed to protect him. The NCAA has proven they do not care about the well being of student-athletes, and have their own agenda. There will be another public outcry, and hopefully this time, the NCAA will hurt because of it.

This is not surprising really, considering the NCAA does their own thing and are rarely ever considerate.
