Not an easy December schedule…

North Carolina won its ACC opener against Florida State using a furious comeback. Now, the Tar Heels will play one home game over the next 40 days. The December slate is going to be tough, with three straight ranked matchups. All of those are neutral-site games as well. Get ready!

Loaded Month

December 5th: UNC takes on UCONN. The Tar Heels get a shot at the defending champs in Madison Square Garden. The Huskies are looked at as a title contender once again and currently have only one loss, which was at Kansas. This will likely be North Carolina’s toughest game of the year.

December 16th: North Carolina and Kentucky face off in Atlanta, Georgia. The Wildcats have looked like the best team in the country at times, but just dropped a head-scratcher to UNC-Wilmington. Carolina vs. Kentucky games always deliver, and this should be a great one as well.

December 20th: UNC will play Oklahoma in the Jumpman Classic. The Sooners are having a nice season, sitting at 7-0 with wins over USC and Iowa. Four of their players average 10 or more points.

December 29th: North Carolina returns home to play Charleston Southern. This should be the easiest game, with the Buccaneers sitting at 3-5 currently.

This stretch of games will show whether the team is a contender or not.
