Davis went in depth on a few topics.

North Carolina guard RJ Davis did an interview with ESPN at halftime of the Arizona-Colorado game. He discussed multiple topics that will interest UNC fans. TarHeelTapes on X (Twitter) posted the video to their YouTube account, if you want to check it out there.

Expectations and Why He Came Back

When asked about his expectations for this season, Davis had this to say: “First and foremost, it was to get a degree. I promised my mom I would finish out senior year and get a degree, academically. But overall, last year wasn’t the way I expected or wanted the year to end. Going into my senior year, I just wanted to have a blast and end on a good note.”

Transfer Impact

When asked about the transfers and how they fit in, Davis said, “They’ve made my job easier. I’ve said it from day one, when they arrived on campus, it felt as if they’ve been on the team. They were so welcoming, and their personality showed.” He later said, “Harrison does leadership different than Cormac and myself, and the locker room has been great. We love each other, we love the success for each other. One thing about this team is we’re always looking to play for one another, it’s never for ourself.”

Davis is having a fantastic season for UNC!
