This will be the sixth team for Bullock.

Former Tar Heel Reggie Bullock has been traded to the San Antonio Spurs. A bit of a journeyman, he has been a serviceable 3 and D guard in the NBA. Additionally, Bullock is a good locker room guy who, with his experience and attitude, can make an impact on those around him.

Time at UNC

Bullock committed to North Carolina as a 5-star prospect, and number 15 in the country. He joined a loaded recruiting class that included Harrison Barnes and Kendall Marshall. Bullock would stay at UNC for three years, taking off as a leader his junior season. He was a big part of those Tar Heel teams, knocking down shots all over. During his final year with the program, he averaged 13.9 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 43% from three. That year, he would be named to the All-ACC team.

NBA Career

The Los Angeles Clippers selected Bullock 25th overall in the 2013 draft. Two years later, he was traded to the Phoenix Suns. Here, he went back and forth between the G-League and the NBA. He was then traded again to the Detroit Pistons. There, he battled injuries before making his mark in 2017. The 2017-2018 season was the first that Bullock played more than 50 games. He broke through and averaged 11.3 points that season. In 2019, he was again traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, who traded him to the New York Knicks. He stuck around New York for two years, hitting shots and often guarding some of the best players he faced. In 2021, Bullock signed with the Dallas Mavericks and played there alongside a budding team. Furthermore, now with the San Antonio Spurs, we will see the impact he has on their young core next year.

Although he has been traded around the league, Bullock has made a nice career for himself. He has made millions playing the game he loves and has had an impact on those organizations.
