Recap
A frustrating game ended with another loss to Iowa. In both games against the Hawkeyes, North Carolina struggled to get the bats going until late in the game. In this game, pitching held up for as long as they could, allowing only 6 runs in 13 innings. For North Carolina to be successful the bats needed to play as they have for much of the season. That did not happen. This loss closes the door on a season that many expected to be better. Until next year, Diamond Heels.
