Hubert Davis is all over the recruiting trail!

With the recruiting period underway, Hubert Davis has been all over the country. He is offering, scouting, and creating relationships with players who he thinks can come to North Carolina and make an impact. His latest move? Visiting North Carolina’s future center and offering a scholarship to his teammate.

Who Was Hubert Visiting?

The Tar Heels head coach was at Link Academy in Missouri, visiting with North Carolina commit James Brown. The center has been a UNC pledge since January and has continued to work on his skills on both high school and AAU ball. Link Academy is one of the best prep schools in the country and will have him playing against the top tier of talent. Currently, 247Sports has Brown ranked 91st in the country and is the 14th-best center.

New Offer

While Davis was at Link Academy, he extended a scholarship offer to class of 2025 point guard Jasper Johnson. A 5-star, Johnson is originally from Kentucky. He stands at 6’4, 170-pounds, and is listed as a combo guard. He has a build similar to that of former North Carolina guard Coby White. However, Johnson is left-handed. He is ranked as the 9th overall player in the 2025 class and the number-two combo guard.

Can Davis reel in two prospects from the same school?
