Hubert continues to work the recruiting trail.

This past week, Overtime Elite held a pro day, allowing NBA scouts and college coaches to watch its players. There was plenty of talent on hand and a lot of eyes in the crowd as coaches and scouts filled the gym, watching who could be the next to make an impact on their teams.

Who is Hubert Watching?

With so much talent being shown off, Hubert Davis likely kept an eye on multiple prospects. There were players from different classes practicing and getting to show what they bring. The most likely recruit that Davis had in mind was Bryson Tiller. We wrote an article on how it was a bit surprising that he was offered due to playing for Overtime Elite, but with how the recruiting world has changed, anyone is fair game. Tiller is a 6’8, 210-pound power forward. He is extremely skilled and is ranked as the 5th overall recruit in the 2025 class. Surely, Davis had his eyes on more than just Tiller, though. The Overtime Elite program has taken off over the past few years and produces NBA talent. Multiple first-round picks have come through there, and that is not going to stop. It seemed as if North Carolina would not recruit players from programs like these in the past, but now there are nearly no limits on who or how you recruit.

No matter what happens, Coach Davis is putting in a lot of effort.
