One NC State Quarterback is a UNC basketball fan!

Former NC State quarterback Jacoby Brissett revealed on a podcast that he was a North Carolina basketball fan. He said he always wanted to play basketball for the Tar Heels but would go wherever to play football. Brissett also said that on his visit to Raleigh, the Tar Heels and Wolfpack faced each other in basketball. NC State ended up winning, and Brissett was mad about it.

Brissett started his college career at Florida before transferring to NC State.

This is a hilarious revelation, as NC State fans hate UNC more than anything, and having one of their own come out and say how he cheered on the Tar Heels for so long will hurt.

QB Battle

Brissett is currently on the Washington Commanders roster, battling for the starting position with former UNC star Sam Howell. Although the two are competing, Brissett is acting as a mentor. Brissett has been in the league for some time, while Howell enters his second season. The two seem to have a good relationship and want to make each other better. Howell has impressed in training camp, with fans and journalists alike raving over his ability. Having a seasoned veteran guide you won’t hurt either. Howell is ready to make an impact and break out this year!

Having stories like these come out is funny and adds fuel to a long history between the two schools.
