The media continues to side with the Tar Heels, this time, it’s Pat McAfee!

Former NFL player and current ESPN superstar Pat McAfee joins the long list of people grilling the NCAA over their decision in the Tez Walker case. Today, live on TV, McAfee went on a four-minute dragging of the hypocrisy, no common sense, and stupidity that the NCAA displayed in this case.

What McAfee Said

McAfee gave some of the best quotes you will see on this case.

“This is the dumbest thing that the NCAA has maybe ever done, not saying it’s the worst thing they’ve ever done, but maybe it’s the dumbest thing they’ve ever done.”

“For what Tez had to do at his first school, at Central, they didn’t even step foot on campus or play football. How is that counting as a football year?”

“It makes no sense that you’re not letting this dude play, and it does feel like you’re personally attacking him, and it’s stupid.”

Everyone sees how dumb this is, except the NCAA.

America Behind Tez

On the show, a crowd behind McAfee began chanting “Free Tez Walker.” The interesting part about this is that the show is being taped in Alabama today. This case has clearly caught the eyes of fans all over. Hopefully, this catches on and continues throughout the season. Sadly, more than Tez have been hurt by the NCAA and their questionable decision-making over the years. Does this case start a revolt that won’t slow down? Many hope so.

This case is far from over, as it has a ton of traction.
