It is the last game in the Smith Center for a group of seniors.

North Carolina will face Notre Dame tomorrow night for the last home game of the season. As is tradition, it will be Senior Night for those who are graduating from the program. There are eight seniors, but some will have the option to use their “Covid Year.”

Senior Night

Of the eight, three are walk-ons, three are graduates that are out of eligibility, and two have an option to return.

Graduates

  • Armando Bacot- It will be the big man’s final game in the Smith Center. He has been a constant for UNC over the past few seasons and has certainly left his mark on the program, holding multiple records.
  • Cormac Ryan- In his one season with North Carolina, Ryan has been a key starter, providing valuable minutes on both sides of the ball.
  • Paxson Wojcik- Also finishing up his lone season with UNC, Wojcik has been a solid role player.

Walk-Ons

  • Creighton Lebo
  • Rob Landry
  • Duwe Farris

This group has been a consistent source of energy for many years.

Option To Come Back

RJ Davis- Likely the ACC Player of the Year, he has the option to come back. Davis has been elite this season, and is one of the top scorers in UNC history.

Jae’Lyn Withers- In his first season with the Tar Heels, he has provided some big energy plays. Withers has the option to return next season.

In a post by the Secondary Break Club, which is UNC basketball’s NIL collective, shirts will be given out with the name of one senior. Seven of the eight players were included, with Withers not having one.

It will be a bitter-sweet night.
